Babe stayed in a standard room (1,900 Baht/$65) at the Ibis Styles Bangkok Khaosarn Viengtai Hotel which includes clean and safe accommodation with all the standards features one expects from the international brand. Be sure to check out the breakfast buffet for an international selection of yummy eats and some really good Thai fare! Babe approves!
Brian was late (I love talking about myself in the third person!) due to a taxi issue - thank you Bangkok traffic, but managed to join Babe and Nut for some scrumptious eats and potables at Streats Restaurant on the ground floor of the Ibis Styles Bangkok Khaosarn Viengtai Hotel dining alfresco in busy Khaosarn! This is a prime spot for people watching and a must try when you are in Khaosarn!
We sampled a variety of dishes at Streats including a massive 16" German Hot Dog that we simply could not finish between the two of us, a Thai-style Basil Burger that really captures true Thai taste without overloading the mouth with hotness! We also sampled some tasty bar snacks like crispy chicken wings, fried calamari and a yummy grille prawn and olive. You can't go wrong at this hip dining spot for cold drinks and yummy eats!
One size does not fit all but if you are looking for upscale accommodation while exploring Khaosarn or even Bangkok in general do yourself a favor and check out Ibis Styles Bangkok Khaosarn Viengtai Hotel - You'll thank us!
