4K Cafe & Bar at X2 Vibe (Cross 2) Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel - Yummy Thai Fusion Cafe
Conveniently located in Sukhumvit Road soi 52 a short 5 minute walk from the On Nut BTS (Skytrain) station is the new and dare I say hip hotel X2 Vibe Bangkok Sukhumvit. Billed as a Lifestyle Hotel and “THE HOTEL FOR MILLENNIAL TRAVELLERS” X2 Vibe has properties in both Thailand and Vietnam and offers upscale accommodation and services for budget minded travellers.
The Thaifoodies team visited 4k Cafe and Bar at the X2 Vibe hotel to review the Thai Fusion eats on offer. This compact property is clearly designed with a younger travellers in mind. Minimalistic stylings and an overall fun and adventurous "Vibe" is evident at the new property. A great launch pad for your Bangkok adventures! - STAY, CHILL & ENJOY!
4K Cafe is the restaurant for X2 Vibe so all meals eaten at the hotel will be served here or in the bar section located right next door. The Thaifoodies team visited for dinner so it was a bit quieter than maybe breakfast - although it did get quiet busy later in the evening

First of all let’s think about food – and that means the 4K Café and 4K Bar. Actually this is a kind of community kitchen for guests and locals alike, so we make local food for local taste buds. That means you can rest assured you’re getting authentic Thai food with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. And don’t worry if you can’t handle spiciness like the Thais – our chefs can always tone it down a bit to suit your palate.
If it’s western food you’re craving, our chef won’t let you go hungry either. In fact, our kitchen serves various western dishes as well as comfort food if you’re missing the taste of home. We also have a range of wine and cocktails, or teas and coffees if you prefer. We’re open from 06:30 – 24:00 with last orders at 23:00, so make sure you stop by and enjoy the ambiance.
The 4K Cafe and 4K Bar features traditional Thai along Thai fusion and international eats. If you don't like spicy fare no worries as 4K has a broad selection of dishes for everyone.

Another great Thai dish followed, Larb Moo Thord, this particular dish of minced pork and Thai herbs was more mild then some of the others we have tried but is really bursting with lemongrass flavor. A great dish for those who don't like really spicy fare.
A tom yum flavored seafood spaghetti with NZ mussels, squid and Prawn, very Thai in flavors but more sweet than spicy. Great whether you are a Thai Food pro or just beginning your Thai discovery!
Chiang Mai sausage pizza came up next and it was great! Spicy Chiang Mai sausage on a crispy pizza dough that is made fresh daily. This is not a common dish in Thailand so be sure to check this one out when you visit 4K Cafe.
A simple but delicious grilled pork chop with veggies, fried and gravy was our last entree and while not Thai it was nonetheless yummy and a perfect choice for someone seeking a dish that will satisfy without deep diving into Thai spiciness.
The perfect dessert, in our opinion, is Thai Mango with sticky rice with warm coconut milk. A steller execution of this Thai classic at 4K Cafe - well done!
